I believe that photography has the power to convey a message that transcends words and can connect people on a deeper level.

Hey there! I'm Tomas, a documentary and travel photographer with a passion for capturing the lives and stories of people from different parts of the world. My focus is on social injustice, environmental issues, and other important issues that affect our world.

Together with my rockstar wife Veronika, who helps me run the business side of things, we make a great team. With her business acumen and organizational skills complementing my creative eye and passion for photography, we're able to offer our clients a seamless and personalized experience that produces stunning results.

I'm constantly seeking out new techniques and experimenting with different approaches to capture the essence of my subjects. This makes my work unique and keeps me motivated to continue pushing myself to new heights.

When I'm not traveling, I enjoy taking unique lifestyle photography and environmental portraits. These types of photos allow me to capture the essence of a person or a place and tell their story in a meaningful way.

I approach each project with a deep level of dedication and care. I prefer to take on fewer projects so that I can invest the necessary time and energy into each one. This ensures that every project is special and that the final product is a true representation of the story that I'm trying to tell.

What sets me apart from other photographers is my focus on creating a complete visual story. I don't just capture images - I also write blog posts and other text to provide context and insight into the photos. This approach allows me to create a more immersive and engaging experience for my viewers.

At the heart of my work is a deep passion for capturing the beauty and complexity of our world. Whether I'm photographing a remote village in Bangladesh or a bustling city in Asia, I strive to create images that inspire and connect people across cultures and borders.

AWARDS

I am humbled and grateful to have received recognition for my photography over the past year. Although I have only recently started submitting my images, I was fortunate enough to win several awards, including the Black and White Travel Series of the Year 2022, as well as two honorable mentions from the prestigious Monovision magazine.

Furthermore, I was selected twice as one of the winning images in the "Humans of the World" competition organized by LifeFramer, which has been featured in renowned publications such as Forbes, The Guardian, and National Geographic.

I am also proud to have won three gold medals for my documentary series, "Coal" and "Boy from the Waste Dump". These series were showcased in the Espace Beaurepaire in Paris and in a solo exhibition at the X-Foto gallery in Prague.

I am honored to have received these awards and grateful for the opportunity to share my work with others. I hope to continue to grow and improve as a photographer and make a positive impact through my images.
